Morning Sickness and Rose Fairy

First of all, I’d like to say welcome to my new followers. Thank you for following me, I hope I can inspire you. Please feel free to leave me comments and ask questions, I love to connect with fellow stitchers.

As you can see, Rose Fairy is coming along beautifully. She’s almost complete. I picked her up again last night for the first time in a long while. I haven’t been in a stitchy mood for the last few weeks because of my morning sickness. But thankfully, that is now fading and I am able to get back into the things I love to do.

A few days ago I went to a Lincraft store to take advantage of their 40% off storewide sale. I bought around sixty new thread skeins for $0.75 each, a real bargain. I’ve now got the threads for two new projects, Iris Fairy, and The Maiden and the Dragon, both Joan Elliott designs of course. The plan is to stitch Iris for my aunt who taught me to cross stitch, and I’d love to do Maiden for my baby’s room maybe. Make up a story about her and her dragon friend to tell to my baby.

I’m hoping to get some more stitching in today, but I do have a few things to do around the house too. I’ll do as much as I can, but I do get tired very easily since getting pregnant. I’m only 14 weeks, but I’ve been I emergency twice with bleeding and I currently have a severe UTI, which apparently pregnant women are prone to, which I did not know.

Better get to it, until next time,

Happy Stitching!

    • Thank you. Today I finished the last of the roses, so it’s just three shades of green left before I finish the back stitching. The morning sickness has already improved greatly, I’m just hoping it will soon fade entirely, but it may not. Either way I’m much better that a few weeks ago so I can’t really complain.
